PreK to Kindergarten students explore vocabulary related to school, home, and the community using engaging methods like bilingual songs, coloring activities, skits, stories, games, and vocabulary exercises.
Elementary grade students delve into a deeper understanding of the language. They enhance listening skills through narrated conversations, practice reading with short stories, and work on sentence structure and writing components. Conversational fluency is developed through scripted dialogues.
Our students also gain cultural insights into Spanish-speaking countries through educational field trips, plays, and dance performances. Cinco de Mayo is celebrated annually with a lively "fiesta," offering a fun way to learn about the historical "Battle of Puebla."

Students attend library class once a week, where they not only check out books but also learn age-appropriate library and research skills. The curriculum includes literature and author appreciation to foster a love for reading. Avid readers are welcome to visit the library outside scheduled classes to explore and return books.
The Smartboard in the library adds an interactive element to literature and author studies, bringing educational segments focused on literary greats to life.

Art
