Extended Learning at Cedarwood School
Extended Learning at Cedarwood School provides children with a safe, structured, and engaging environment beyond the regular school day. Our program is designed to support families while giving students extra time for learning, socialization, and enrichment.
Morning Extended Learning begins at 7:30 AM, allowing students to start their day with a calm and welcoming environment before classes begin. In the afternoon, Extended Learning runs from 3:30–5:30 PM, offering a variety of activities that complement the school day, including homework help, creative projects, and physical play.
This service is also designed to accommodate working parents whose schedules require additional time at school, and we are committed to providing that support.
Extended Learning encourages the development of new skills and interests while also giving students the opportunity to build stronger friendships and a deeper sense of community. Together, these experiences help make each child’s school journey more enjoyable, balanced, and well-rounded.

- Extended Learning Hours: 7:30 AM | 3:30 – 5:30 PM
- Students eligible to participate: 2's & 3's | PreK - 7th Grade
- It is necessary to sign up in advance for your child to participate in the Extended Learning Program.
- Business Office will charge enrollment fees on the 5th each month.
- Enrollment is limited. No guarantee of availability.
- We are not able to accept “drop-ins” to ensure the highest quality experience for students enrolled.
- Parents are given a 15 min flex period (3:15-3:30) to pick up before being charged.
- Any student picked up from Extended Day after 5:30 will incur a $40.00 flat rate charge.
