Campus Safety Partnership with Pelican Urgent Care

Cedarwood School is proud to partner with Pelican Urgent Care, located at 804 Heavens Drive, Mandeville LA in support of campus health and safety. We extend our sincere gratitude to their team of medical professionals for generously donating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to our school.

An AED is a life-saving medical device designed to restore a normal heart rhythm during sudden cardiac emergencies. This AED is centrally located in our gymnasium and is readily accessible for students, faculty, parents, and guests.

Campus safety is a top priority at Cedarwood School, and this valuable addition strengthens our ability to respond quickly in an emergency. We are thankful for the continued support and community partnership of Pelican Urgent Care, whose commitment to health and wellness helps keep our campus safe for all.

With experienced staff and extended hours, they strive to provide exceptional service to ensure a positive, supportive experience for you and your loved ones. You never need an appointment to see one of their providers, and they accept most insurance plans. SPIRIT WORD

Creativity in children is the ability to imagine, explore, and express ideas in their own unique way.
It helps them solve problems, communicate feelings, and learn through play and curiosity.
When children are encouraged to be creative, they build confidence and discover the joy of learning.

CAUGHT CHA AWARDS

The "Caught Ya" awards are a way to recognize and celebrate students who embody the qualities of the school's spirit word, such as kindness, perseverance, or responsibility. When students demonstrate these positive traits in their actions and interactions, they are "caught" displaying the spirit word's values and recognized in Friday assembly. This encourages a positive and supportive school culture by highlighting and rewarding the behaviors that reflect the school's core values.
