Cedarwood School focuses on all aspects of each child's development and provides activities and experiences in the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive areas.

The Cedarwood School teachers take the time and possess the skills to spark each child's talents and interests through innovative, developmentally appropriate activities and projects with respect for the developmental age of each child as they progress through the early childhood program.
The Cedarwood Curriculum for Early Childhood features exploration and discovery as a way of learning.The Cedarwood Curriculum for Early Childhood is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills. It is designed to help educators at all levels of experience plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, content-rich program for children with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.

We are thrilled to share that Cedarwood School received TWO certificates at our Network Meeting yesterday — recognizing the incredible work happening in our Early Childhood program!

🎉 Birth–2 Honor Roll
Awarded to schools that made top gains in the 2024–2025 school year based on CLASS observations. This honor highlights the outstanding growth and high-quality care our teachers provide to our youngest learners every single day.

🎉 Academic Performance of High Proficiency
Presented to schools with an average CLASS score of 5.25–5.99 for the 2024–2025 school year. This rating reflects exceptional teaching practices, strong relationships, and a nurturing learning environment across our classrooms.
