Our hours support both learning and family schedules:

• Infants/Toddlers: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• 2's & 3's School Day: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

• 2's & 3's Before Care: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM

• 2's & 3's Extended Care: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM

Families may choose School Day or Full Day including Extended Learning.

Yes, all meals are included in the Early Childhood Program.
Children receive three nutritious meals each day:

• Breakfast
• Lunch
• Afternoon snack

We value strong, consistent communication. Families receive:

• Parent Communication app for pictures, invites and reminders

The program is led by Amy Haley, a dedicated early childhood professional committed to supporting children, families, and teachers.

It is important to make learning fun and engaging for the students. We do this by getting to know each child, what he is interested in, the child’s strengths, areas the child needs to work on, and how he learns best.  Cedarwood is a place that cherishes young children and supports learning through play and experiences, with a focus on learning to think and problem solve. Kids are amazing little humans who are eager to absorb knowledge!

Amy Haley has been an educator for over 20 years with experience as a classroom teacher, teacher mentor, and school administrator. She joined Cedarwood School in May of 2023 as the Early Childhood Director. Amy has a bachelor's degree in elementary education with an add-on certificate in early childhood development and a master's degree in school administration. Amy lives in Mandeville with her husband, has one son who is married, and has one daughter in college.  Her philosophy of early childhood education is that children should be provided with a multitude of experiences and opportunities that encourage thinking and language development, allowing them to become lifelong learners. Amy truly cares for the students and strives to ensure the early childhood program is a safe and joyful environment where every child feels loved, and parents are comfortable leaving their children each day.

Tuition includes:

• Three nutritious meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and snack)
• Menus guided by a licensed dietitian
• All classroom materials and learning supplies
• Parent-teacher conferences three times per year
• Seasonal on-campus enrichment experiences
